Dutch director Dave Schram took home the Best Feature Filmmaker award for his film Regret! (Spijt!)

Ajyal’s juries select a total of five Best Filmmaker awards – each jury selects a best filmmaker in the short film category, and the Hilal and Bader juries also select awards in the feature film category. Best Filmmakers are awarded funding toward their next film, so jurors are empowered to support and promote future content that is relevant and important to them, in a proactive way.
